A component of some identity federation systems that is used to help users select their identity provider (IdP) during the authentication process.

When a user attempts to authenticate with a service provider (SP) that is part of an identity federation, they are typically presented with a list of available IdPs to choose from. This list can be long and confusing, especially for users who are not familiar with the available IdPs.

WAYF simplifies this process by presenting a user with a single page that prompts them to select their home organization or identity provider. This page can be customized to include branding and other information that helps the user identify their IdP.

Once the user selects their IdP, they are redirected to the IdP's authentication page to complete the authentication process. This can help to streamline the authentication flow and improve the user experience, especially for users who are not familiar with the available IdPs.
